With food truck wars raging, and new contenders popping up with delicious fare around the East End, the North Fork Table and Inn recently launched its own traveling lunch truck.
The truck, which has previously been located at the Southold restaurant, hit the road last Saturday as North Fork Table and Inn owner Claudia Fleming, founder of the original lunch truck, and Chef Cindy Halloran took their culinary delights on the road on the East End.
The truck will be parked outside the tasting room at Bedell Cellars in Cutchogue from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through November 10.
Weekday locations will vary and be announced on the North Fork Table & Inn Facebook page and Twitter account. Menu items, subject to change, include Hartmann’s artisan all beef hot dog or jumbo frankfurter, served on a toasted Blue Duck Bakery roll; North Fork-style Berkshire pulled pork roll, house-made McCall Ranch grass fed ground beef and black bean chili with blue corn tortillas, 100 percent wild caught lobster roll, and more.

Earlier this season, the Roaming Fork Food truck hit the Riverhead and North Fork area.
