MEET Has Soft Opening at The Square in Greenport

Meet will invite guests to taste fine wines, beers, spirits and artisan-produced food products.

Meet, the fourth business to open at chef Keith Luce's reborn Stirling Square in Greenport this summer, had its soft opening on Saturday.

The new offering opened on Main Street, at the site of a former skating shop.

"I'm hoping it'll be a place for people to meet, taste New York State wines, beers, spirits and artisan-produced food products," Luce said. "There will be classes and tastings, and all of the items will be available for purchase to take home or to a picnic, party, boat, etc."

After purchasing the North Fork Oyster Company – along with several other properties in Stirling Square – in mid-March, Luce and the rest of his management team rebranded the four locations in the historic area as Main, Nosh, Prep, and Meet.

Customers have flocked over the summer to The Square for fine dining at Main, flatbread pizzas and smoked meats at Prep, and a delicious array of gelatos, sorbets, and sandwiches at Nosh. Crowds enjoy live music as they enjoy Luce's menu offerings outside in the courtyard.
