Friends and family were sending well wishes via Facebook on Tuesday to Carolyn Iannone, congratulating her on taking over as the new owner of the restaurant, which became a community staple under the guidance of owners Michael Avella and his wife Patty Avella.
Iannone, who has been a general manager at the restaurant for three years, declined to make a statement when contacted on Tuesday. Though she did confirm the news, saying more information about the change in hands would be forthcoming.
Friends sent enthusiastic messages to Iannone on the Love Lane Kitchen's Facebook page, wishing her well in her new endeavor.
