Following approval of a new Oregon Road tasting room last month and a Nov. 7 ground breaking, is hoping to have its new facility open for business by January or February of next year
, the new tasting room will convert an agricultural storage building over 5,500 square feet in size to a tasting room and dry storage area.
Lieb's Sarah Kane said on Wednesday that the main focus of the project will be to revitalize the vineyard's wine club. From there, she said, they are hoping to participate in other events such as Jazz on the Vine in future years, which is currently not possible at its Cox Neck Road facility.
Kane added that inclement weather would be the only contributing factor in pushing the opening back.
"We have our fingers crossed," she said.
