James Beard House to Feature Jamesport Chef

Local ingredients and wines will hit the menu for a James Beard Foundation dinner this month.

Culinary creations from Keith Luce, owner and chef of will be featured at a James Beard Foundation Dinner at the James Beard House in New York City on Jan. 25., according to a report from Long Island Restaurant News.

is one of many North Fork chefs known for using local ingredients to craft high-end dishes paired with local wines. James Beard was a renowned figure in the culinary world known for bringing elegant French culinary dishes to the American middle class in the 1950s.

The dinner begins at 7 p.m. and costs $130 for James Beard Foundation members or $170 for non-members.
