Heron Suites Unveils New Waterfront Gathering Space

County Executive Steve Bellone will visit the hotel to discuss the marina, renovations after Sandy.

Just in time for the coming summer season, Heron Suites, the deluxe hotel located at Port of Egypt Marina, unveils the addition of a brand-new waterfront gathering space.

“We are excited to welcome visitors and local residents to next month’s Open House, when we will unveil our new waterfront space and premium hotel suites,” Kathryn Sepenoski, general manager, said.

“Please join us for refreshments and a tour of our property which has been completely renovated by local craftsman in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.”

An open house and VIP reception will be held on April 6 at 11 a.m. Suffolk County Executive Steve Belllone and other dignitaries are slated to attend and boater safety.

The new waterfront gathering space will complement spacious, seaside rooms at Heron Suites, which provide guests with a panoramic view of Southold Bay -- and will serve as a space for hotel and marina guests to host rehearsal dinners, bridal brunches, milestone parties, showers, intimate weddings, vow renewals, meetings and workshops.

Heron Suites is offering a special introductory rate for those who reserve by Labor Day, 2013. To inquire about further details or book a tour, call (631) 765-5121 or email events@heronsuites.com. An open house is scheduled for both April 6 and 7.

Amenities offered at Heron Suites include boat, kayak, bike and car rentals, beach passes, complimentary tastings at local vineyards and in-room massages.

Heron Suites features 20 well-appointed suites, accommodating two to six people; lodging is available year-round and popular with those who boat, bike or hike, attend a wedding, seek a romantic getaway or a family vacation.
