Free Slurpees Today at 7-Eleven

It's the 84th anniversary of the convenience store chain.

Need to beat the heat today? Head to one of the three 7-Eleven stores on the North Fork for a refreshing treat that is also free today.

The 7-Eleven franchise is celebrating the  84th anniversary of the chain by giving away free Slurpees today, July 11.

Customers are invited to receive a free, 7.11-ounce Slurpee at any 7-Eleven location, while supplies last, according to a release from the convenience store chain.

“7-Eleven Day and giving away free Slurpee beverages is our way of thanking customers for their patronage throughout the year and showing appreciation for their support,” said Jesus Delgado-Jenkins, a 7-Eleven vice president, in a release.

The chain gave out more than 5 million Slurpee drinks last year and hope to give out at least the same number this year, according to the release.

Store locations can be found on Route 25 in Greenport, Southold, and Cutchogue, and also Route 58 in Riverhead.
