Dan’s Review: ‘Vineyard 48 is My Kind of Place’

Writer for Dan’s Papers gives controversial Cutchogue winery two thumbs up.

Though some say weekend degrades the local wine tasting experience, not everyone is disappointed with the Cutchogue vineyard’s youthful approach to running a winery.

In a recent piece in Dan’s Papers, writer Arianna Johnson said that the atmosphere at 48 is “ideal for the young and people who feel uncomfortable about wine because they are not experts in the field (no pun intended).” Johnson was not deterred by the limos, tents and dancing in her exploration of several of the vineyard’s wines this past weekend.
