MTK Cafe To Close, Naturally Good Will Move In

After eight years in business, MTK Cafe will close in October. The space won't sit vacant long, as a longtime Montauk business has plans to open a second location there.

Diana Katsipis said she sold the building at 779 Montauk Highway, in the heart of downtown Montauk, to the owners of Naturally Good Foods & Cafe in April.

Harvest East End Celebrated Long Island Wine Country's 40th Year

An event celebrating the 40th anniversary of Long Island Wine Country drew crowds of over 1300 and raised almost $50,000.

The fourth annual Harvest East End, presented by Wine Enthusiast Magazine in August, was attended by New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, who presented McCall Wines, with the Winery of the Year award.

Riverhead

New Liquor Store Opens In Peconic Plaza

There's a new liquor store in Riverhead, located in the Peconic Plaza, next to the check cashing business.

The new shop, named "Wines & Liquor," opened last week, according to staff, and features a wide selections of wines and spirits.
