7-Eleven Aiming for 3 p.m. Wednesday Opening

Inventory and other details need to be wrapped up before the doors can open in Mattituck today.

You might see cars in the parking lot but the door of the Mattituck 7-Eleven is still locked as of Wednesday morning.

Franchise manager Greg Cocheo said that inventory of the store need to be complete and ownership of the store needs to be transferred from corporate to franchise. He said he hoped to have the store open and running by 3 p.m.

I AM SURE THE 7-11 GOT UP FROM ITS PROPERTY AND DISPOSED ITS GARB. ON PBB. NOT LIKELY ITS THE IDIOTS WHO HAVE NO MORE ROOM IN THEIR CAR FOR GARB. AND DUMP AT WILL. RAG ON PEOPLE NOT NICE LOOKING (4 A CHANGE ) BUSINESS'. UNLESS YOU ARE SAYING BRING BACK THE LOVELY GAS STATION.
BOB PALADIN January 03, 2012 at 01:17 PM
no its CIVIC REGARD for all that concerns me. We dont have the MCDOnalds have a drive through because of the litter it engenders. we should not ALLOW the 7 11 and its throw away food to be dumped out on our streets. We had their coffee cups and the largest cans of Bud and Other booze cans on the road this weekend They have a civic responsibility to clean up the roads and be good neighbors.
