10 Places to Dine on New Years Eve Weekend

Many local restaurants are offering dinner specials and live music.

Dining on the North Fork is always a lovely experience because many of our restaurants offer a variety of fresh food from locally established places. New Year's Eve is a night to remember and a great way to start is by having a delicious meal at one of our famed local hotspots.

1. Noah's in Greenport: Noah's Restaurant in Greenport offers a variety of dishes compiled by Chef Noah Schwartz. He chooses ingredients from local sources and his food has a natural style served in small portions. The most commonly admired dishes are their New England Clam Chowder and Barbeque Duck over Cheddar Polenta. Noah is creating a unique chef's menu for the weekend of New Years Eve and offers the visiting or local crowd a delicious spread that shows off Noah's complex food design. They are accepting reservations over the phone or on their website at www.chefnoahs.com. The restaurant is open until 11 p.m. and afterwards, Chef Schwartz will keep the bar open as long as the party lasts on New Years Eve.

Chef Tom Schaudel's vision comes to reality with a fine blend of fresh locally harvested ingredients as well as a large wine selection and savory dinner specials. On New Years Eve, they are offering their regular menu as well as some fresh dinner specials and from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. there will be a live DJ. They are currently accepting reservations.

This restaurant offers a fresh selection of local products as well as a historic dining atmosphere. They are offering dinner specials made from the freshest local ingredients for the entire weekend.

One of the North Fork's oldest and most established restaurants located in historical Southold, the Elbow Room East will be offering a variety of dinner specials the night of New Years Eve as well as their regular menu. This is a great spot for families and for a quiet night out for two.

Equipped with both a sports bar and a fine dining atmosphere, Legends is offering their regular menu as well as a variety of lunch and dinner specials for New Years Eve and New Years Eve weekend. Families and couples can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner here and later on join the bar room in celebrating the New Year.

The Love Lane Kitchen will be offering dinner specials as well as their regular menu on New Years Eve and for the weekend to follow. They are accepting reservations.

This upscale joint is offering dinner all three nights of New Years Eve Weekend and a sophisticated atmosphere. They will have their regular ala carte menu as well as some specialty items and drinks, including champagne cocktails and bellinis. From 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. on New Years Eve there will be a live DJ. They are accepting reservations.

Founders is offering lunch and dinner all three days with some specials. The bar will be open late on New Years Eve. They are accepting reservations for dinner.

is serving Peconic Bay Scallops, Sauerbraten, New York shell steak and Swordfish, open until 9:30 p.m., taking reservations. After 9:30 p.m. the bar is offering free juke box plays and various drink specials all night.

For an early evening before your New Years Party the dining room will be open until 8 p.m. They will be serving traditional Italian dishes complimented by a decent size wine list and delicious dessert choices. On Saturday and Sunday the dining room will be offering the same selection but will stay open later until 9:30 p.m.
