Shakespeare in the Park Gets Moved Inside Due to Weather

Friday night's performance will take place in Greenport High School at 7 p.m.

The threat of soggy skies has moved Friday night's kick-off performance of William Shakespeare's "Henry V" indoors, to the Greenport High School auditorium, at 7 p.m.

Guests can still bring chairs or blankets if they want to sit up close to the stage; it is suggested audience members bring a cushion for the wooden seats in the auditorium. Running time is approximately two hours, minutes.

Northeast Stage's production will continue as planned, weather permitting, on both Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. in Mitchell Park. The show is directed and designed by Colin Palmer. Bring blankets and chairs.

All performances are free.
