Proceeds from two-day event to benefit the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund.

It's arts and crafts with a water view this weekend at the New Suffolk Fun-Key, Artsy-Crafty Festival.

Lauren Grant of New Suffolk organized the second annual two-day fair, which boasts more than a dozen booths, BBQ food and live music.

"It's a very laid back event," she said.

Grant chooses vendors, most of whom offer unique, homemade items such a Hap's Ironworks metal sculptures and recycle glass paintings from NorthForkArts.com.

Proceeds from vendor booths, kids crafts and the bake sale will benefit the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund.

The fair continues Saturday until 4 p.m. and will be open again from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the New Suffolk Waterfront, located at New Suffolk Avenue and First Street.

To assure public access opportunities now and for future generations.
