Nov. 12: Spaghetti Dinner, Iron Man II and Q&A Feature

The North Fork was abuzz with memories and past and present on Thursday — and one fundraiser for Greenport's American Legion was standing-room only. Now it's time to get ready for the weekend.

1. in Greenport nearly ran out of food Thursday night, catering to a crowd who waited nearly two hours to even get in the door by the end of the night for a fundraisier to help raise money to save . Read the story later today.

2. Southold Cub Scout Pack 6 hosts a tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Southold American Legion hall. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

3. Escape for a couple hours at local library movie nights tonight. Catch Robert Downey Jr. in for teen movie night at the at 6:30 p.m. or a great performance from Andy Garcia and his dysfunctional family in at the at 7 p.m.
