Local Band Plays Gig At Famed NYC Club

The band has chartered a bus to bring North Fork fans to the show.

One local band will rock a famous New York City nightclub this month — and they want to bring their hometown fans along for the ride.

Jaguar Priest, a local band made up of Southold members, is booked for a show at The Bitter End on August 30  at 11:30 p.m.

The hard rock/alternative band is made up of Brian Brooks, who sings vocals and plays lead guitar, Brian Schubert on drums, Trevor Brooks on rhythm guitar, and Connor Brooks on bass.

The band's mission statement on the group's Facebook page reflects their passion: "Four musicians with one mission: To build a wall of sound. Join us on a journey to the other side."

Of the Bitter End gig, Brian Brooks said, "We are looking forward to a great show there and are so excited about it we have chartered a bus round-trip from Southold to New York City the night of the show. The bus holds 40 people and we are trying to fill it up with people from the North Fork who love rock music."

The round-trip bus is free for guests; the Bitter End costs $10 per person.
