The grammy-nominated, contemporary bluegrass band, Blue Highway will bring their award-winning song writing to Shelter Island. Their current album, "Sounds of Home" is currently at number 5 on the bluegrass charts, with two songs from the album in the top 20. The concert, originally planned for the Sylvester Manor Farm and rescheduled due to Hurricane Irene, will be held in the School Auditorium. Ticket prices ranging from $20-$30 will benefit the Sylvester Manor Educational Farm. Tickets can be purchased from Sylvester Manor's website or at brownpapertickets.com Students can receive a $10 discount at the door with proper ID.
