The third annual Alumni Concerts Festival will present outstanding alumni of the Summer Music School and Chamber Music Workshop this year in its new home at the Kristy and James H. Clark Arts Center. The festival invites alumni to return to the Shelter Island campus as seasoned performers and professional artists, in order to receive coaching from PMP faculty and to present full-length recitals to the East End community. Violist Juan Miguel Hernandez, accompanied by pianist Vivian Fan, performs on August 10 with works by Brahms, Coletti, Enesco, Martinu, and Schumann. For more information on the artist, please visit www.jmhernandez.com; for more information on The Perlman Music Program, please visit www.perlmanmusicprogram.org or call 212.877.5045.
