This multi-part documentary series highlights people with some of the most unusual occupations on the north fork of Long Island. Dive to the bottom of the Long Island Sound in search of lobster; Stand in the middle of thousands of ducklings at Crescent Duck Farm and fly high overhead Long Island's famous potato farms with a crop duster in this humorous, intimate and informative portrait of a handful of the finest behind-the-scenes workers that make it all happen.
The GFM Kids Club mission is to inspire children of the North Fork to take part in their local food system, enjoy eating nutritious foods, and empower them to make healthy choices. We hope to provide an opportunity for kids to engage with local farmers and get to know where their food comes from in order to improve health outcomes and inspire a new generation of informed and healthy eaters.
