Screening of "Lunch Line" Documentary

Slow Food East End East End is pleased to announce our new initiative to bring food-related films to Slow Food members and friends on the East End!

Slow Food East End, in cooperation with the Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport, will show our first film "Lunch Line, the Documentary", on Wednesday, October
5th, at the library. This documentary takes a new look at the school lunch program by exploring its past, its current challenges, and its opportunities for the future. If you care about what your kids eat for lunch (or food policy
or politics), then this film is a must-see.

Greenport is the place to show this film on the North Fork. The new Greenport School Slow Food Garden is helping bring fresh, local produce to the children of Greenport!

lesson is a substantive one." - The Atlantic

Oliver.com
