Peconic Bay Winery will hold a special concert benefiting one of the North Forks most beloved and talented local musicians, Ray Penney. Ray has been performing and giving lessons all over the East End for years, and plays in the band Great Caesers Ghost.
Ray has been diagnosed with a very rare form of leukemia and hasn’t been well enough to play music or give lessons to make his living. His family is suffering from the lack of income and need our help as a community to get on their feet as Ray struggles to get back to health.
Musicians, fans, and friends are gathering together on June 8 at 6 p.m. to support the Penney family and raise money to help them make ends meet.
Performers include Gene Casey, Jon Divello, the Secondhands, Southold Slim, Rob Europe, and Donna Butler- with Rocky Divello as MC.
