PORT OF EGYPT MARINE HOSTS COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND OPEN HOUSE

Port of Egypt Marine  -- the North Fork’s award-winning and full-service marina marking 65 years in business, 50 years as the nation’s oldest Grady-White fishing and cruising boat dealership and its 15th consecutive Admiral’s Circle Award in 2011 -- hosts an open house over Columbus Day weekend, from Saturday, October 8 through Monday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

One-time anniversary year deals include savings up to $10,000 on top Grady-White models plus $2011 off any new boat purchase over the Columbus Day open house weekend.  

Sea trials, throughout the day, will be led by Port of Egypt Marine CEO Bill Lieblein who will also demonstrate how easy docking a boat can be for first-time boaters on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday at 1:00 p.m., tastes from the menu at A Lure Chowder House and Oyster-ia at Port of Egypt Marina (www.alurenorthfork.com), will be hosted by Adam Lovett and Jeff Uguil, co-owners with Tom Schaudel, of the new restaurant that opened to rave reviews this summer.

On Sunday at 1:00 p.m., a cooking demonstration led by Charlie Manwaring, owner of The Southold Fish Market at Port of Egypt Marina (www.facebook.com/southoldfishmarket), will show how to prep, season and cook a local and seasonal fish dish. 

 

In addition to marking 65 years in business, and 50 years as the nation’s oldest Grady-White dealer, in 2011, Port of Egypt Marine was awarded its 15th consecutive Grady-White Admiral’s Circle Award.

 

The Admiral’s Circle honor is reserved for those top elite dealerships in the Grady-White network that have achieved over $1 million in retail sales for the model year, and, have earned Grady-White’s Service Excellence award with customer satisfaction index scores exceeding 9.25 on a 10-point scale as rated in actual customer surveys. Port of Egypt Marine is a charter member of the Admiral's Circle.
