Learn to plan/paint an abstract painting using a grid design and a strata format. Use collage to learn composition and as a means of change. Learn to crop for good designs. Daily demonstrations and positive critiques help take the “fear out of painting.” Creating rich painting surfaces, learning new techniques and the importance of content in one’s work, students learn to think and stretch their imagination.
