Oysterponds Heritage Day

Join friends and neighbors at a home-grown celebration of local history and culture.  Parade starts on Village Lane in Orient at 12 p.m. Decorated bicycles and pets on leashes welcome!  The parade will end at the Old Point Schoolhouse for a reading of the Declaration of Independence and music by the North Fork Chorale.  Then we’ll head over to the Webb House Lawn  for a picnic, games and an ‘open mic’ of local music until 3 p.m.
