Sunday, May 20  2:00 pm - 4:00 pmObserving Nature Through a Lens ...  How to Incorporate Photography Into Your Nature ExperienceMeet at the Red House Nature Center, Inlet Pond County Park65275 Route 48, Greenport, NY If you are in the 7th-12th grade and have an interest in the natural world please join us for this event at the Red House.Join Ted and Grace Scalzo as they share with you some of their photography and offer an introduction on how to get started taking your own pictures of natural subjects.The afternoon will include a discussion on light and why it matters, how to get close to your subject while remaining respectful and not disturbing it, the power of photography in conservation, how to combine your images into a multimedia presentation with impact and more. This will be an interactive session and your questions and involvement are welcome.  We can linger out back at the feeders at the conclusion of the talk and try some photography, weather permitting.  Your are welcome to bring your own cameras and equipment.To register for this workshop contact Debra O'Kane at dokane114@optonline.net. or 917-623-5373
