New York Sea Grant Celebrates 40 Years

New York Sea Grant celebrate its 40 years at the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville.

What better way to celebrate 40 years of “bringing science to the shore” than by thanking stakeholders, collaborators, advisors, researchers, colleagues, students, and elected officials for the years of advice and support. 

Please enjoy the 40th Anniversary Reception and enjoy an afternoon of networking in an authentic maritime setting with an atmosphere of good food, camaraderie and music. Visit the museum’s exhibits, network in the gazebo, listen to music or walk along the beach. 

At 4:15 p.m. New York Sea Grant will hold a brief ceremony to our appreciation for those who have supported our mission and will rededicate our vision for the next 40 years.
