BOTTOMS UP: The Private Lives of Noel Coward

This play, with musical selections from Noel's extensive songbook, traces the life of theater legend Noel Coward from struggling child actor to international superstar, famous for his plays Hay Fever, Private Lives, Blithe Spirit and his performances on Broadway, London's West End, in films, and in Las Vegas.  First produced off-Broadway in Manhattan in 1998 and written by late Southold resident Daniel Rosenblatt, this is its Long Island premiere. Directed by James Pritchard with musical direction by Dee Laveglia. Performed at the beautifully restored historic mansion Brecknock Hall (just off Rte 48 at the entrance to Peconic Landing). Presented by Northeast Stage. 11/5, 11/6, 11/12, 11/13 at 8pm with Sunday performances 11/7 and 11/14 at 5pm. Opening night reception follows the 11/5 performance.
