An Informal Reading of TWELFTH NIGHT

Is't possible??!?

A countess, supposedly in mourning, falls giddily in love with a woman disguised as a man . . . who in turn falls hopelessly in love with a duke . . . who happens himself to be lovesick for the "mourning" countess. Got it? Yeah, well wait 'til the cross-dresser's identical twin brother shows up. (He was supposed to be dead.) Enter, too, the debauched knight, his lame sidekick, the lusty maid and the singing fool, who together plot the comical undoing of the countess's officious, buzz-killing steward. Shakespeare, you say? Indeed. At his comedic best!
