The Southold Free Library will host a reading by author Rebecca DeMarino of her new book A Place in His Heart on Friday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A Place in His Heart is a full-length historical romance based on Southold early settlers, Barnabas and Mary Horton, who are the author’s ninth great-grandparents, and is the first in The Southold Chronicles series. Meet the author and her family who are traveling from Washington State to spend the first weekend of the summer in Southold. Rebecca will talk about what led her to write the book. She has a passion for discovering the past and has a wealth of anecdotal experiences to share.
