What Vacant Structure Would You Like To See Saved in Southold?

Tell Patch what forgotten piece of history you'd most like to see saved.

With the General Wayne Inn headed for demolition, and the old Traveler Watchman building standing vacant for years, Southold residents have begun engaging in a dialogue about what they believe should happen with the town's crumbling structures.

Some feel the buildings are an integral thread in the canvas of the town's history and should be saved. Others believe the historic homes and buildings have been left to the elements for too long and are unsafe and a blight -- and should be razed.

Of all the abandoned or forgotten homes and buildings in Southold, which do you most feel should be saved and preserved for future generations? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
