Weekend Spotlight: Japanese Fish Printing Session

Turn a real fish into a painting at the Southold Indian Museum on Saturday.

Like fishing and feeling artsy? How about taking a class on the Japanese art of fish printing this coming Saturday at the , located at 1080 Main Bayview Road in Southold, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Turn a real fish into a painting by learning this Japanese art of fish printing. Instructors will help you develop a close and personal artistic relationship with a real fish and use oil and water paints to make an artistic impression of the fishy subjects. Roll up your sleeves and dress to paint and handle fish.
