Tickets Now Available for Greenport Tall Ships Memorial Day Weekend Event

Greenport Village Mayor David Nyce has announced this week that tickets are now available for the which will hit the village this Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 through May 28.

The festival, part of a year-long celebration of the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812, is just one stop for the team of historic replica sailing vessels. The sail begins in Savannah, Ga. (May 3-7), races up the East Coast to Greenport, continues to Newport, R.I. (July 6-9) and Halifax, Nova Scotia (July 19-23).  Precise race routes and festival schedules will be announced soon.

Ticket holders will be able to board the sailing vessels and interact with crew members and sailing trainees. To purchase advance tickets for the event, log onto http://greenport.showclix.com and select from the price list below. Tickets prices will be higher when purchased at port on Memorial Day Weekend.

$7 for adults

$5 for seniors (65 and over)  

Children 12 and under are free
