Snow Closings, Cancellations, Updates On North Fork Begin

As snow begins to pile up on the North Fork, warnings, cancellations and other updates are starting to pour in.

- Southold Town Hall will close at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

- Greenport Schools: All afternoon activities cancelled.

- The Village of Greenport has asked that all residents remove their cars from the street to allow village highway crews do work effectively and safely.

- The Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport will close on Tuesday at 3 p.m. due to the snow and will re-open Wednesday as soon as it's safe, with a goal of noon.

- All Suffolk County National Banks will close at 2 on Tuesday.

- Suffolk County Community College: All activities and classes cancelled as of 5 p.m. Tuesday on all campuses. 

- Mattituck-Cutchogue Schools: Early dismissal and afternoon and evening activities cancelled Tuesday. 

- Shoreham-Wading River School District: Two hour early dismissal, no afternoon child care, and afternoon and evening activities cancelled Tuesday.

- Southold Schools will be closing early today, and all after-school and evening activities are cancelled. Junior/Seniorr. High School will dismiss at 1 p.m. and Elementary School will dismiss at 1:45 p.m.
