Send Us Your Nominations for Greatest Person of the Year

Your comments or emails count as a vote.

As the year comes to a close, Patch would like to take time to honor the men and women who work tirelessly for the North Fork community.

We want your input, though. Share with us your nominations for the North Fork's Greatest Person of the Year, 2013. Whether it be a community advocate, a doctor, a firefighter, a police officer, a teacher, or a business owner who has enriched your life, we want to know who you'd choose to wear this year's proverbial crown.

Let us know in the comments below or email Lisa.Finn@patch.com. Your comment or email will count as a vote. We will tally the votes and announce a winner at the beginning of the year.

The individual named Greatest Person will be featured in an upcoming Patch story.
