Sea Tow Kicks Off National Safe Boating Week

Sea Tow will stress the importance of wearing life jackets this week.

Once again, Southold's Sea Tow will work to keep boaters safe out on the water.

On Friday, the company will celebrate "Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day," at their Southold headquarters. The entire staff will wear life jackets to work that day.

Also, on Thursday, Sea Town will announce details, at its "2013 Return to Boating Safely Event" event, about its Life Jacket Loaner Station program, which will roll out across Long Island. The program is underwritten by a $20,000 donation by Clare Rose Inc. and Anheuser-Busch Companies, LLC.

The events are scheduled to highlight National Safe Boating Week, which begins on Saturday and runs through May 24.
