Photos: LI Photowalk Strolls Through Greenport

Long Island Patch editors joined the active group of photographers as they turned their lenses on the storied North Fork village.

This past Saturday, three Patch editors picked up their cameras and joined the Long Island Photowalk, a group local photographers who visit various locations on Long Island to shoot the scenery together.

Regional editors Henry Powderly and Jason Molinet, as well as Sachem Editor Chris Vaccaro, met with photographers hailing from across Long Island to tour and photograph the scenery in Greenport, traveling through the downtown, shipyard and the historic side streets.

Members of the group, who meet regularly and post their photos on a shared Flickr group, are a mix of novice and professional photographers.

We've posted the photos from our Patch editors here, but we invite any of the photographers who participated in Saturday's walk to add their photos to this gallery.
