It's been cold but pretty gorgeous as the week has progressed. One of this editor's favorite beaches is Mattituck's Bailie Beach, and these photos were taken at the half-way point of a brisk Wednesday evening run and the wind was kicking the Long Island Sound up and the sun was disappearing behind the jetty of the Mattituck Inlet.
