Peconic Landing Talk to Center on Slavery, Racism and Prejudice

The event takes place Sunday at 3 p.m.

February is Black History month, and to shine a spotlight on critical issues, past and present, the Oysterponds Historical Society will feature a talk on Sunday with author Mac Griswold will speak at Peconic Landing on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Griswold is the author of "The Manor: Three Centuries At A Slavery Plantation On Long Island." He will speak as part of OHS's Winter Lecture Series and discuss slavery, racism, and prejudice.

Peconic Landing is located at 1500 Brecknock Road in Greenport.
