Everybody loves a parade -- especially in Southold.
Sporting red, white and blue attire, scores lined Route 25 in Southold Thursday for the 16th annual 4h of July parade sponsored by village merchants.
Crowds soaked in the sunshine, cheered on the marchers, and held patriotic spirit close.
"Thank you for your service," some shouted to veterans passing by.
Kids dove for candy, parents unpacked picnics -- and old-fashioned, small-town spirit imbued the festivities.
