Litter is Everywhere on the North Fork, From Beaches to the Recycling Center

With Earth Day on the horizon, photographer Andrea Pickerell takes us on a journey of junk — some littered on what appear to be pristine beaches, some where it belongs in the town's waste transfer station.

To get you motivated for April, month, North Fork Patch photographer decided to turn her lens toward garbage — everything from litter on seemingly untouched sandy beaches to glass bottles ready for recycling at the in Cutchogue. Check out her slideshow — and let's clean this place up, eh?
