Last Minute Ways to Treat Mom On Mother's Day

Or treat Mom to a $5 '"Mom-osa" or Bloody Mary, served all day on Mother's Day  Sunday at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck. Breakfast and lunch will be served until 4 p.m.

Take her for a beach walk: Spend some quality time reflecting by the beauty of the Long Island Sound. The views are free -- and the conversation is priceless.

Treat her to a show: Northeast Stage will continue its tradition of bringing theater to the North Fork this weekend, when it begins its run of "Collected Stories," by Donald Margulies. Directed by Sally Jacobs Baker and starring Jere Jacob and Amie Sponza the show will run May 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. and on Mother's Day, May 12 and 19 at 5 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Church Hall on Main Street in Greenport. Tickets cost $15 and are available at the door. For more information, email northeaststage@optonline.net or call 631-477-2972.

Share a decadent dessert:  Head to Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery in Southold this Mother’s Day for a decadent dessert and sparkling wine pairing. Toast to Mom: Celebrate Mom at Waters Crest Winery in Cutchogue, where she can choose between either a free White Wine Flight or a Free Red Wine Flight.
