Gone Apple Picking? Share Your Photos Here

Locals from across the region have made a run for Long Island apples before they are all gone.

In honor of Johnny Appleseed Day, celebrated on Sept. 25 each year, we'd like to see if we can pull together an enormous gallery from locals who have made a fun weekend of picking apples on the East End of Long Island.

To participate in our gallery, hit the large "Upload Photos & Videos" button at the top of the slideshow and add your best shots. We'll feature them on the site as they come in.

And if you haven't hit the orchards yet, hurry up. Here's our list of local places to visit before the fruit is all gone.
