Girl Scouts Show Greenport Pride; Ready For Memorial Day Parade

Everybody loves a parade -- and Greenport residents are gearing up for a holiday weekend filled with hometown pride.
This year, the Southold Town Memorial Day Parade wil be hosted by the Village of Greenport.
Festivities kick off on Monday at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of 1st and Main Streets, with a ceremony.
Girl Scouts have been busy at the park, planting flowers and beautifying the space in a swell of Greenport spirit and pride.
The parade commences immediately after the ceremony.
