Get Out: Here's Your Weekend Field Guide For Jan. 28 - 30

Get into weekend gear and take advantage of cool things to do on the North Fork.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

North Fork Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit this weekend:

Friday:

Bring the kids down to  this weekend for fun educational activities. From 4 to 5 p.m. there is a free interactive science lesson for kids grades K - 1. There is also a free introductory Yoga class for kids from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Call 631-298-4134 for details.

This weekend,  is offering a special, two-day Winter Weekend Seminar, "Christian Spiritual Formation," from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for those wishing to strengthen their faith and spirituality. The two-day seminar will be presented by Chris Webb and Mickey Cox. The event features music Friday evening followed by an all day seminar on Saturday. The donation is $25 per person or $40 per couple. Check out some local student art this weekend at the . The youth art exhibit, "Students View American Still Life," will run from  2 to 4 p.m. and feature artwork from Greenport students in grades K-12. Call 631-477-0660 for details.
