FROM THE EDITOR: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2012

We're celebrating our third Christmas and over two years live to the North Fork and the world on Patch.

As we recover from the big morning of present opening and get ready for family meals in the afternoon on Christmas day, I just wanted to say Merry Christmas - for the third time during my tenure with North Fork Patch.

This year of ups and downs was filled with amazing stories and lots of new readers catching on to our cutting-edge local coverage — and there's no slowing down in sight for 2013. Thanks so much for being a part of this fun and informative community hub and hope you all have a great new year!
