Eastern Long Island Hospital Expands Primary Care Offerings

The doctor said she believes in one-on-one care.

There's a new doctor in town.

Eastern Long Island Hospital announced the appointment of Yuliya Vinnitskaya MD to the staff this week.

In her internal medicine practice, Dr. Vinnitskaya provides comprehensive health care to adults for the treatment of acute illnesses and the prevention of chronic medical diseases.

“I believe in the one-on-one patient doctor relationship for the continuity of care. As medicine becomes more complex, maintaining that relationship with regular screenings and physical examinations is the most effective treatment available to help patients stay healthy and live life to the fullest,” Dr. Vinnitskaya said.

Dr. Vinnitskaya graduated cum laude from Stony Brook University with a degree in biochemistry and then obtained her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Brooklyn, according to her bio. Next, she completed an internship in internal medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and a residency in internal medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
