Don't Miss: Local Photographer's Randee Daddona's First Solo Exhibit

An opening reception takes place Saturday night from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

A well-known local photojournalist will kick off her first solo show, "Through the Looking Lens," at the Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, at 234 Carpenter Street in Greenport, on Saturday.

An opening reception for Randee Daddonna's show will take place Saturday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The exhibit runs through January 20; the event is free.

The exhibit spotlights photographic works of the North Fork.

“Through the Looking Lens” is a series of photographs that "invites viewers to connect to with their own memories and experiences on the North Fork. All images share a minimalist aesthetic and use natural objects such as marine life, farm animals, trees, grapevines and other familiar North Fork sights — they charm, delight, and mesmerize with their soothing tones and textures. This show explores the ever-changing beauty of life on the East End of Long Island," a description of the show reads.

Daddona’s work has been featured in a number of local publications and newspapers, as well as magazines and advertising campaigns. She has worked with Martin Scorsese and other filmmakers. In addition to photography, Daddona has explored videography and editing.
