Don't Miss: Greenport Harbor Brewery's Oyster Festival, 'Malt and Mollusks'

Don't miss the fun in Greenport as the oyster festival unfolds.

As crowds head to the North Fork on Veterans Day weekend for the Taste North Fork event, which will feature a bevy of events from Riverhead to Greenport, and a free shuttle, a new favorite will be back on the agenda.

The 2nd Annual Greenport Harbor Brewery Oyster Festival, "Malt and Mollusks," will take place on Nov. 10 from noon to 6 p.m. in front of the Brewery in Greenport, located at 234 Carpenter Street.

Admission is free.

The event will focus on Greenport’s rich cultural history of oyster harvesting, with four local growers serving fresh oysters, including Widows Hole Oyster Co., Little Creek Oyster Farm, Pipes Cove Oysters, and Mystic Oysters.

Three local restaurants will also offer food and pairings with the oysters, including Noah’s of Greenport, Main, and Lucharitos Taqueria and Tequila Bar.
