Don't Miss: Family Bird-Watching Fun

Want to learn about birds that are migrating through the area? Grab your binoculars and head out to Downs Farm Preserve.

Spring is the season for bird sounds, as feathered friends head for the North Fork.

On Thursday at 8:00 a.m., the Downs Farm Preserve will host an event during which families can study birds of all colors and sizes that are migrating through eastern Long Island during the month of May.

The group will look and listen for the birds on a morning stroll through the woods of the Downs Farm Preserve. For reservations or more information, pcontact Steve Biasetti at 631-765-6450 ext. 205 or sbiasetti@eastendenvironment.org.
