5 Places to Take Mom For Mother's Day Brunch

Mother's Day is Sunday, and it's the one day of the year to pamper Mom and get her out of the kitchen and off to a nice restaurant for a leisurely brunch or dinner.

The Cooperage Inn: Mother's Day brunch and dinner at this Baiting Hollow favorite are both offered as a special treat for that special woman in your life. A double buffet brunch -- including a carving and omelet station, baked goods, and a full array of delights -- begins at 9:30 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m. and costs $36.95 for adults; children ages 6-12, $19.95; and ages 2 to 5, $9.99. Jamesport Manor Inn: Mother's Day is a special day at the Jamesport Manor Inn. Enjoy for a la carte service beginning at 11:30 a.m.  Mother's Day Brunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., and Mother's Day Dinner will begin at 3:30 p.m. Younger diners are welcomed and can choose from a special menu. Reservations required.

Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center: A special Mother's Day brunch will be offered on Sunday in the Riverhead Aquarium's Sea Star Ballroom. Price: Children 3 to 12 and seniors 62+: $29.95 (Members: $24.95). Adults: $34.95 (Members: $29.95). Children two and under: Free. Dinner Seating: +$5.00. Reservations required.
