10 Places to Watch the Jets Battle Pittsburgh

Bars and restaurants across the North Fork will be seeing green on Sunday night—literally. With the New York Jets one-step away from the Super Bowl, expect your favorite watering hole to be filled with fans chanting J-E-T-S! (and yes, there might be a few Pittsburgh Steelers fans out as well). Here’s a list of bars and restaurants where you can catch the AFC Championship game and Jets fever. Remember the game starts at 6:30 p.m. so get to your destination early.

The Rhumbline in Greenport will be open for both the NFC and AFC championship games. The restaurant is having a $25 all you eat and drink special for the afternoon. The restaurant will be open too in case you want are looking for some of the restaurant’s signature Greek dishes. Rhumbline is located at 34 Front Street in Greenport.

Another Greenport establishment where you can also catch the action at the Whiskey Wind.  With plenty of seating and a friendly atmosphere, enjoy a pizza and a cold one as you watch the game. On game day, Whiskey Wind will offer an extended happy hour from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Whiskey Wind is located at 30 Front Street in Greenport.

Skippers is just past the East Marion/Greenport border at 4545 Route 25 and is sure to have a bar filled with happy patrons. If the crowd gets too noisy, grab a table in the restaurant. Don’t worry. The friendly bar crowd will  keep you updated on any big plays.

One of Greenport’s newest establishments is urging every  Jets fan to stay in Greenport to support the "green" team. To show its support to Jets fans, The Portly Grape will offer $1 Greenport ale and fireside dining during the game. The Portly Grape is located at 305 North Road in Greenport.

Front Street Station will have drink and appetizer specials during the game. With a large bar and plenty of parking, this centrally located bar is popular among football fans. It is located at 212 Front Street in Greenport.

Founder’s Tavern in Southold has five televisions and plenty of seating in the spacious bar area. With specials always available, Founder's is bound to hopping on game night. You can catch the action at 55500 Route 25 in Southold.

A favorite of many locals, The Broken Down Valise in Mattituck will offer free Jets shot when the Jets score a touchdown. Stop by the Valise at 180 Pike Street in Mattituck.

10. Do Little’s

Do Little’s will offer hungry patrons free hot dogs and drink specials during game time. With six televisions, spectators can watch every angle of the game. Do Litttle's in located in the Mattituck Plaza at 10095 Main Road in Mattituck.
